If we simply want to increase the number of filter bags, increase the air outlet area, and increase the air output of the filter, it is inevitable to install too many filter bags on a certain size of filter, causing the spacing between filter bags to be too small and squeezing each other during the air outlet, which actually reduces the effective air outlet area, reduces the air volume, and sharply increases the air resistance. Therefore, the number of filter bags should be calculated appropriately. Before calculating the number of filter bags, we need to first calculate the air volume of the bag filter.
How to calculate the air volume of the bag filter? According to industry insiders who have been engaged in the air filter industry for many years, the air volume of the filter Q=S * V, L=600mm, H=595mm, P=6, and the efficiency is 65%: (V=0.25m/s), then S=L * H * P * 2=0.6 * 0.595 * 6 * 2=4.284 square meters. Rated air volume Q=4.284 * 0.25 * 3600 (converted to hourly air volume)=3855m2/h. When in actual use, if used in excess, the wind speed can increase by up to 10%. However, it should be noted that in this case, the service life of the filter bag will be reduced.
After determining the air volume value, we can choose the filter bag. If the expansion and stretching of the filter bag are close to 50mm during the air outlet, in order to avoid squeezing between the bags, the installation size W1 should be greater than 60mm (calculated as 70mm). The number of filter bags P=W/W1. If the filter width W=595mm, the number of filter bags=595/70=8.5, so the number of Z large filter bags is 8. Designers usually design 6 bags according to the convention.
